Visual DNA

I first saw this on Shark's blog . Its quiet amazing how ones' character can be defined merely by the choices he makes from a set of images. Anyway, here's more details on my DNA, demistified

Now, try get your own, and bring em back to me to analyze!

Everything I Do

Every thing I do - Bryan Adams

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
Look into my heart -
you will find There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true Everything I do - I do it for you
There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way

Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you
Ya know it's true Everything I do - I do it for you
********************************************

Well said, the power of love must be lived in to be discovered, makes sence?
Anyhow,to my buddy who is still healing from a painfull breakup with a mutual friend, hope you'll move on, sooner then you think!

AKON - Should he be prosecuted?

Its always easy to say sorry when you think you can get away easy from whatever that you did. So this guy Akon, has his own problem, a big one!

Last week, I heard his new number, titled ““Sorry, Blame it on Me” MP3.” On hitz.fm. The music was nice and the lyrics were good, in a way. It was pretty much put in a simple way for you to listen to the entire song as story. In fact the story goes that Akon was performing in an “above 21” club in Trinidad where he ended up dancing on stage in a “suggestive” manner with what happened to be a 16 year old chick, READ:UNDERAGED!

To make things worst, he was on tour with Gwen Steffani who later lost her sponsorship deal with Verizon due to this incident, Ouuch! So I thought it was sweet of Akon to sing a song to apologize. Here's the song and lyrics; Listen to the song online here

AKON - “SORRY, BLAME IT ON ME”
As life goes on I’m starting to learn more and more about responsibility
I realize everything I do is affecting the people around me
So I want to take this time out and apologize for things I have done
And things that have not occurred yet
And the things they don’t want to take responsibility for

I’m sorry for the times I left you home
I was on the road and you were alone
I’m sorry for the times that I had to go
I’m sorry for the fact that I did not know
That you were sitting home just wishing we
Could go back to when it was just you and me
I’m sorry for the times I would neglect
I’m sorry for the times I disrespect
I’m sorry for the wrong things that I’ve done
I’m sorry I’m not always there for my son
I’m sorry for the fact that I am not aware
That you can’t sleep at night when I am not there
Because I am in the streets like everyday
Sorry for the things that I did not say
Like how you are the best thing in my world
And how I am so proud to call you my girl

(Bridge)I understand that there are some problems
And I am not too blind to know
All the pain you kept inside you
Even though you might not show
If I can apologize for being wrong
Then it’s just a shame on me
I’ll be the reason for your pain and you can put the blame on me
ChorusYou can put the blame on me (4x)

Said you can put the blame on me (3x)
You can put the blame on me
Sorry for the things that he put you through
And all the times you didn’t know what to do
Sorry that you had to go and sell those packs
Just trying to stay busy till you heard from Dad
And you would rather be home with all your kids
As one big family with love and bliss
And even though Pops treated us like kings
He got a second wife and you didn’t agree
He got up and left you there all alone
I’m sorry that you had to do it on your own
I’m sorry that I went and added to your grief
I’m sorry that your son was once a thief
I’m sorry that I grew up way too fast
I wish I would’ve listened and not be so bad
I’m sorry your life turned out this way
I’m sorry the FEDS came and took me away
(Bridge)

I’m sorry that it took so long to see
They were dead wrong trying to put it on me
I’m sorry that it took so long to speak
But I was on tour with Gwen Stefani
I’m sorry for the hand that she was dealt
For the embarrassment that she felt
Just a little young girl trying to have fun
Her daddy should never let her out that young
I’m sorry for Club Zen getting shut down
I hope they manage better next time around
How was I to know she was underage
Enter 21 you know the club they say
Why doesn’t anybody wanna take blame
For rising back out disgracing my name
I’m just a singer trying to entertain
Because I love my fans I’ll take that blame
Even though the blame’s on you (3x)

I’ll take that blame from you
And you can put that blame on me (2x)
You can put that blame on me
And you can put that blame on me

Sounds nice? NOT REALLY! Watch this U-tube Video on the actual footage taken in the club! I don’t want to pre-judge Akon, but Dude, I wouldn’t accept what you did even with an Adult lady, period!

If things were my way, I’ll have him prosecuted for the following offences: 1- Simulating Rape 2- Indecent behavior with a female i3- Disrespectful to a female4- Causing hurt & harm to a human He doesn’t deserve to have his concert in Malaysia, my 2 cents worth!

You Judge!

SQ vs. MH

Customer care agents are pretty much the main interface between a consumer related business and the consumer himself/herself. I had a first hand account of this nature recently in my communications with Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Air.

On both occasions, I had sent out an email to enquire about the frequent flyer programs. See for your self the standard of response from both airlines and you will know why MAS hasnt got what it takes to potray a professional image on the ground. I must however say that on air, i'm still favourable to our Malaysian girls over the Singapore girl.

Subject: PTA claims for Points

Dear Enrich,
I'm an Enrich member, MH012443502. In one of my previous travels, I cancelled part of my itenary. As a result, MAS provided me with a PTA (Travel Refund Voucher) on 2nd Sept 2006 for approx Rm2900. As I constantly fly on business needs, I find it impossible to use these ammount for a personal travel award.
Can I convert the PTA ammount of RM2900 into Enrich Points?
Alternative, do you know if I can choose to refund the ammount in CASH?

Thank you,

Root cause analysis

You have probably done some root cause analysis to support lessons learnt upon project completions. However, RCA doesnt always have to be tied up to work or technical domains. It seems you can also resolve the human factor problems using RCA. I found this in my mail box, something from one of our country organizations, distributed to reduce work related frustrations.
Not bad i must say, RCA's put to good use. If just everyone can make good use of this process for actual work related issues!

Rome & Colloseo Visit

My trip to Rome wasn’t one that was planned. It just happened. My colleague Tock and I were en-route to Bangkok for a meeting and 2 days before we flew, we had news that there would be a strategy meeting in Rome which required our attendance. So it was pretty much a tiring week. It started of with 3 days in Bangkok, then flying back to KL for 7 hours of transit, before taking a long 15 hour flight to Rome, via Frankfurt. We finally arrived in Rome, but I couldn’t say the same for my baggage, that never made it from the very beginning of my journey in Malaysia. All this given that we checked in using Tock’s Enrich gold at the golden class lanes, 5 hours before flight.. So much for MAS’s new passenger check in system.

The colloseo at night.
Lost as usual, in yet another Kwai-lo land..
Inside the Colloseo at 12 noon.

My favourite Italian tree. Below is probably the most magnificent place in Rome, the Vatican. It is yet another wonder of true beauty, in terms of the art work, architecture, calmness and off course holiness too. Here's a view of the roman city from the observatory platform, at the top of the dome. You need to climb 300 stairs up and mind you, once you start, you cant turn back untill you reach the top. Its quiet an experiance as the stairways get smaller in size as you reach the peak.

The above 2 pictures took literally 15 minutes for me to plan, strategise and try different shots. The interior of the Cathedral is dark and i had my exposure at ISO400 with 1 sec shutter delay to get the best shots. Oh yeah, i didnt have a tripod, so i placed the camera on the guide rail and set the timer to avoid my clicking motion to induce any form of movement and distortion to the slow scenary shot of the Panasonic Lumix Fx-9. The human object in the picture isnt a Ghost but a dude on a white shirt walking pass my shot. Due to the slow shutter speed, it looks a little freaky!

Anyway, i'm very proud of these shots, given my amateur photographic skills.
to visit, i wasnt very impressed with rome. However, there seem to be some people who are and have come up with a list of 10+1 reasons to visit Rome. Go read it here.

Myself, Tock & Stephen. Wolfgang is taking the photo. These are some people i work with globally.

Windsor, the castle that still is!

John Freeman, The Royal Collection © 2006, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

I took the liberty to rip the above picture from here. It's probably the most elegant and by far the biggest royal residence in Europe. This over thousand year old fotress turned castle serves as the weekend home for the Queen & her loved ones. You can read more about Windsor here in Wikipedia, hence i dont need to cut & paste. My trip to Windsor was by luck of a misfortune. My flight from London to Gotteburg was cancelled due to the SAS strike. As a result, my only available option was to take a late evening LH flight via Frankfurt, giving me a good 8 hours of bumming around at my sisters place. As it was just 10 minutes drive away, she dropped me off one cold & rainy morning for my experiance of a lifetime. Here's some pics to share.

Okay, i wasnt flying around in a Heli to get this picture, this one is Courtesy of Wikipedia. I also owe an appology to my camera as i was constantly cursing its poor colour and over exposure. I later found out in Rome that i had set the ISO to 400 and happily shooting away in broad daylight. How goblok of me!

London

As promised, I’ll kick start a series of photog’s (Photo-blog) to share with you some of the pictures I’ve snapped over the last 2 months during my business trips. I start with my trip to the UK, end May. I was in-transit at London for 3 days, when traveling from Egypt to Sweden on business. My trip to London was originally scheduled to be for work but once I arrived, my hosts decided to go on a vacation. So, vacationing is what I did too. I wasn’t too impressed with Heathrow, which took 40 minutes to clear the 1st baggage of the BA flight I was on, CAI-LON.

It was only 3 days, but I had a fantastic time there. In fact, I can easily say I almost fell in love with London in those few days. It led me to applying for certain local jobs, while surfing some internal employment sites. Anyway, I’ll do the shutting up and let the pictures do the talking.
